Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 17, 2026

PsalmKids (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to psalmkids.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

1. Who we are

PsalmKids is an independent review blog publishing curated, hands-on reviews of scripture printables, Bible verse cards, Christian coloring pages, and homeschool worksheets for crafty pet parents and small Etsy sellers. The Site is operated by an independent publisher. For any privacy-related inquiry, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide voluntarily

If you subscribe to our newsletter, leave a comment, or contact us, we collect the personal data you submit — typically your email address, name, and any message content. We use this information solely to respond to your request or deliver the newsletter you signed up for.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our servers automatically log technical information including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, the pages you visit, and the timestamps of your requests. We use this information to ensure the Site functions correctly, to diagnose problems, and to detect abuse or fraud.

2.3 Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies — required for the Site to function (e.g., session management, security).
  • Analytics cookies — anonymously measure traffic, popular pages, and reading patterns (e.g., Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics 4 when active).
  • Affiliate-tracking cookies — when you click an affiliate link, our affiliate partners place a tracking cookie so they can credit any resulting purchase to PsalmKids. See Section 4 for affiliate disclosure.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may degrade some Site features.

3. Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the Site:

  • Cloudflare — content delivery network and security. Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver pages efficiently and to block malicious traffic. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-friendly traffic analytics, no cross-site tracking.
  • Google Analytics 4 (when active) — usage analytics. Google may process your data in the United States. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Affiliate networks (Creative Fabrica, Design Bundles, and others listed in our affiliate disclosure) — when you click an outgoing affiliate link, the destination service may collect data about your visit per their own privacy policies.
  • Pinterest — if you reach the Site from a Pinterest pin, Pinterest may have collected data about that interaction per its own Privacy Policy.
  • WordPress hosting infrastructure — our content management system and hosting provider may process server logs for security and operations.

4. Affiliate disclosure

PsalmKids participates in affiliate programs. This means that when you click a product link on the Site and subsequently make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Our recommendations are not influenced by commission rates; we review only products we have personally tested and we will say so honestly if a product disappoints us. For the complete list of affiliate programs we participate in, see our Affiliate Disclosure.

5. How we use your information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
  • To deliver the newsletter to subscribers who explicitly opt in.
  • To respond to questions or feedback you send us.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising profiling or cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Comment data is retained until you request its deletion. Server logs are typically rotated within 30 days.

7. Your rights

7.1 If you are in the European Union (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. You may also object to processing or request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7.2 If you are a California resident (CCPA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of your data, and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To submit a CCPA request, contact [email protected].

8. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We apply commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal data, including HTTPS encryption for all Site traffic, restricted server access, and regular security updates. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the Site after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

11. Contact
